We are on the hunt for our SECOND MAAC Championship!
A tough non-conference schedule prepared our young team for our conference slate, and we currently sit with a record of 5-3 in the MAAC and have clinched a playoff berth for the fifth consecutive year. We are heading into playoffs this weekend at Iona!
We have had many wonderful experiences so far this year including trips to face then #2 Northwestern, Marquette and a spring break trip to North Carolina to face Davidson and Queens. We have taken on the ACC, Ivy League, Big Ten, Big East, MAC, and the A10 in our non-conference schedule and these games have allowed us to compete against the best teams in the nation.
This spring we have taken advantage of our fundraising dollars by implementing a new video system at Niagara Field called Spiideo. With this AI technology we are able to film both games and practice from multiple angles and receive instant feedback via an iPad on the sidelines. With the direction Women's Lacrosse is moving, instant replay will soon be a part of our game and to be ahead of the curve is something we cannot put a price tag on. In addition, the instant video feedback helps us in making in game adjustments as well as helping the team learn on the go at practice. Giving our team the best possible student athlete experience has always been a top priority for our program. We are only able to do this with the help of donors like you. Thank you for your generosity, and Go Purple Eagles!
Niagara University Day of Giving is a 24 hour campaign on April 24th where we’re challenging Niagara alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty, and staff to come together to give our Purple Eagle Athletics Program the support and experience they deserve! Your generosity towards Niagara athletics helps provide invaluable support.

We provide an environment that inspires the holistic development of student‐athletes, striving for excellence in all phases of their lives, while collectively serving as a source of pride for the campus and community. The experience derived from the Department of Athletics, rooted in the Catholic and Vincentian mission, helps fuel the power of Niagara University.
Every gift, no matter the amount, has a positive impact on our student-athletes and their ability to succeed in the classroom, in competition and in the community. Help shape an exciting future for our student athletes and make your gift today!
