Olivia Maturo
NU Soar Throats AcapellaStudent LifeHello! My name is Olivia Maturo, I am a sophomore Nursing major with a minor in ASL and Deaf Studies from Syracuse, NY. I have always been interested in the arts and have participated in music from elementary all throughout high school. I played cello in our schools orchestra, sang in our show choir and participated in every musical I could. Being able to participate in Nu Soar Throats Acapella has allowed me to stay involved in the arts while in college and I'm so grateful! I also participate in many other clubs and organizations and I am truly grateful for every opportunity NU has given me. Thank you for helping support this amazing school that allows me to grow in my passions and my education!
Soar Throats Acapella, to many of its members, is the one place where we can be ourselves and sing our hearts out!
As a freshman at NU, Soar Throats was the first club I joined, and it quickly became my home away from home. My closest college friendships were made there, and it's given me the opportunity to keep pursuing my passion for music even though it's not my major!
Soar Throats is like a family, and we would be so grateful for any support you are able and willing to give to keep our family going!
Student life is a vital part of every students experience on campus. At Niagara we offer many opportunities for students to participate in clubs and club athletics were they can engage in activities that expand on their interests and passions outside of the classroom.
